Netlife is presently applying for 501(c)(3) to make ourselves a tax-deductible institution.
Our wonderful pro bono team believes this should go through by the fall of this year, which would make any check written in 2008 tax-deductible.
However, if for some reason our application does not finish processing by the end of this year, checks written in 2008 will not technically be tax-deductible.
Previous checks written to SLU-CAP will all be tax-deductible. Since we are graduating medical school, we will no longer be able to receive checks written to SLU-CAP, a student run organization of Saint Louis University.
